Lancaster disappointed to come away with nothing

Following his side's defeat against Castres Olympique in extreme conditions at the Stade Pierre Antoine, Leeds Director of Rugby, Stuart Lancaster admitted he was disappointed not to come away with any points from the game.  After dominating the first half Leeds went onto lose the game 13-3 and were denied a crucial losing bonus point, leaving Leeds Carnegie now having to wait on the result between Bath and Auch learn their fate in the European Competition.  Speaking after the game Lancaster said, "I'm reflecting on our performance and we're obviously disappointed not to come away with anything.  We were confident at half time, I thought we had a good first half, but we lost our focus at the start of the second half and we made little errors that accumulated in points for Castres.  They managed those conditions well in the middle of the second half and deserved the win in the end.  We didn't do enough in the second half to deserve the win.  I think there are lots of things we need to reflect on as a team and coaching staff, but ultimately for us I think we lost our focus and Castres played well and were able to punish us."
