Carnegie Carnival Part Two Another Hit

The 9620 crowd at Headingley Carnegie were treated to another fun family day out as the Carnegie Carnival returned to the stadium ahead of Leeds Carnegie's Guinness Premiership match against Saracens.  Around the Stadium fans were able to take part in Laser Shooting, Target Shot and compete on the inflatable Obstacle Course, whilst on the pitch Leeds Metropolitan Gymnastic Display and Beatles Tribute band The Cheatles provided the pre match entertainment.
Fans of all ages clearly enjoyed the event, Georgia Murphy, 7, who was attending her first game said, "It was a brilliant day my favourite thing was the inflatable obstacle course because my Dad timed me and my older brother and I was faster than him!"
Matthew Jones and Niall Robinson who are both 9 were another two fans who were enthusiastic about all the activities.  The pair began their day at the coaching festival held at the Kirkstall training ground, then they headed for the game to join in the fun of the Carnival before they took part in the half time games with their club, Wetherby Rugby Club.  The two boys commented, "We thought the coaching festival in the morning was really good fun, especially the coaching that we did with Andy Rock and Adam Greendale.  We were nervous about playing on the pitch at half time in front of the crowd but we were very excited and we got the chance to take part in all the activities at the Carnegie Carnival."
