U19s win tough encounter with Bedford

Leeds Carnegie's Under 19 side achieved a well earned win at Bedford on Saturday by scoring the only tries of the game to win 10-0.
Bedford won the National Colts Cup last season and were clearly out to stiffle a young Leeds side and claim the scalp of a Premiership club.
The game was switched to a local park pitch and the dressing room allocated to Leeds was locked forcing the young players to go back to their roots and get changed on the team bus before kick off. The home pack continued the frustrating tactics during the game and Leeds had to show real composure to stick to their gameplan and come away with the win.
George Elliot and Joe Picketts were the try scorers for Leeds Carnegie and the win was all the more notable for the fact that the visitors were without three players who were away with England U18 and a further five players through injury. That also does not include the likes of Adam Greendale and Calum Clark who, whilst still eligible to play Under 19, are now considered for the older age sides at the club.
The Under 19s are next in action on Saturday 8th December at Moseley, kick off to be confirmed.
