A team continue that winning feeling

Leeds Carnegie A team produced a convincing 27-5 win over Sale Sharks in the Guinness A League at West Park Leeds on Bank Holiday Monday.
Leeds led from start to finish and will now conclude their Guinness A League campaign with the visit of Worcester on Monday 31st March at West Park Leeds, kick off 7pm.
James Brooks opened the scoring for the home side after five minutes. Leeds doubled their lead after 14 minutes through Chris Hughes before Scott Armstrong completed a strong first half for Carnegie their third try five minutes later.
Townson got the visitors only try after 57 minutes however that just sparked Leeds into life again and they collected the try bonus point with ten minutes left through Andy Boyde, with Adam Greendale adding the only conversion of the night.
The game was wrapped up in the final minute when Jon Goodridge capped a great Easter weekend with a try to make the final score 27-5.
