The Carnegie Challenger has been away on a short holiday in the sun to refresh himself and develop a new look.
For many of us the New Year is a time to reflect and make changes to our lives and this has been so for the Challenger. With a busy programme ahead, of school visits, charity work and superhero deeds he needed to be rejuvenated for the challenges ahead. The Challenger will be supporting Our Team at every opportunity and encouraging new fans to support Leeds Carnegie. His makeover at one of the top resorts included skin and hair treatments, mud baths, floatation chamber and a full programme of fitness activities.
Next week the Challenger is working with Spring School for children with hearing impairment as a part of his ongoing community commitments. On March 5th the Carnegie Challenger will be supporting a local charity event to raise money, before attending the Leeds United v Cheltenham Town fixture on Tuesday 11th March when he competes in a race against other mascots in a celebration of the Cheltenham Race Cup. Then on Sunday 16th March the Challenger will run in the Sport Relief mile in Roundhay Park. If you would like the Challenger to support your school or charity event please contact Andrew Webster on (0113) 203 3289.
