Leeds Met draw Bristol in Championship play offs

Leeds Met's Mens Rugby Union side will face a home tie against the University of Bristol next Wednesday, 5th March, at the Headingley Campus in the knock out stages of the BUSA Championship.
The Mens team, coached by former Leeds star Colin Stephens and current first team prop Tommy McGee, have won 7 of their 11 games so far this season, and they will be favourites to progress against the team from the South West who won just three games in their division, two of which game with home and away wins over Bath. The Leeds Met team includes the likes of Richard Vasey, Chris Hughes, Max Lewis, Tom Whittaker and Scott Armstrong from the Leeds Carnegie Academy.
The Womens team have a much tougher task on their hands with a home game against the University of Dundee. The Scottish team have won 5 of their 6 divisional games scoring 226 points in the process and only conceding 37. The Leeds Met Womens team have been in fine form this season with 7 wins out of 10, only losing once at home all season. They will be hoping that home advantage will be key next Wednesday though in a evenly poised contest.
