
An exciting job opportunity has arisen within Leeds Rugby's Commercial Sales department. Working as part of a busy team, the successful candidate will need exceptional communication and organisational skills in their role as Sales & Events Administrative Assistant.
Job Title - Sales & Events Administration Assistant
Reports to - Rob Oates, Commercial Director
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (working with both Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Carnegie)
Processing of invoices for both Rhinos and Leeds Carnegie and filing
Maintaining Ascent database
Printing and sending out matchday tickets
Maintain the Commercial Sales section of the Leeds Rugby website, making sure all details and information is current and up to date
Compiling the department stationery order
Assisting signing sessions
General administrative assistance
Hosting of a suite on matchday and assistance in setting up all facilities
To assist in organisation of events i.e. golf day, annual dinners, corporate events
General mailing and post duties
Assisting on match days
KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Experience of general office work
I.T. Skills
An interest in sport
Knowledge of database system
A knowledge of Audience View ticketing system is an advantage but not an essential, as training is given
COMMUNICATION AND LEVEL OF CONTACT WITH OTHERS
Communication with sales team
Communication with other departments within the organisation
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
The assistant will be expected to help the commercial sales team in the general running of the department, with administrative duties including, database maintenance, filing and matchday assistance
SPECIAL FACTORS
The successful candidate will work within the commercial sales department and in addition to this will be expected to work on a match day for both Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Carnegie and on all other occasions as and when necessary. This will include weekend and occasional evening work.
