It is with regret that the club learned this week that former Headingley player Humphrey Luya died on Friday 9th May, aged 90.  Humphrey captained Headingley during the 1940's and went onto win five caps for England.  His funeral will take place on Wednesday 21st May at Skipton Crematorium, Carlton Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 3BT.
His son Stephen has advised the Club that anyone wishing to attend the funeral is welcome to do so, there will be no flowers but donations to a charity of your choice would be welcome.
