Leeds Carnegie summer camps off to great start

The Leeds Carnegie summer camp programme began this week at Yarnbury RUFC with nearly 100 school children from the Yorkshire area taking part in the first of nine camps to be held across the region over the school holidays.
For the past four years thousands of children across the region have taken part in the unique summer camps which are run by the Leeds Carnegie community team.  With the chance to learn new skills, make new friends and meet some of their favourite Leeds Carnegie players it is the one school holiday activity that each child who attends never forgets.
This week children at Yarnbury will receive coaching from British Lion John Bentley and on Friday they will meet two of Leeds Carnegie's most popular players, Kearnan Myall and Richard Welding. The camps cater for boys and girls in the under 7's to under 16's age groups (with girls welcome to participate  here up to under 12's) and commence from 10.00 am - 3.00 pm each day. There are still places available on the forthcoming camps to book your place simply visit www.rugbycamps.com or call 08700 60 60 50.
