The Leeds Carnegie A team return to action in the Guinness A League tonight when they take on Newcastle Falcons at West Park Bramhope RFC, kick off 7pm.
Diccon Edwards has named a strong side ahead of the fixture with Argentinean international Martin Schusterman starting alongside a number of first team players including Phil Nilsen, Jon Goodridge, Tom Rock and Michael Cusack. The A team made a positive start to this season's Guinness A League with a famous win over Leicester Tigers but they were denied going top of the league when they were defeated by Sale Jets in the following match. They will be looking to put that behind them tonight as they take on the Falcons for the first time this season. The Falcons, who have played two more games than Leeds Carnegie, are in third position in the A League, with a record of won two and lost two.
