Tom Biggs aiming to set new record

Tom Biggs will be aiming to break the club record set by Dan Scarbrough as the highest scoring player of all time for Leeds.
Biggs has scored 8 tries already this season in all competitions leaving him on 36 tries for his career just a score behind former Leeds star Scarbrough.
Speaking about the record Biggs said this week, "It means an awful lot to me to be so close to the record set by Dan Scarbrough. Before joining the Leeds Academy and during my student days at Leeds Met, I was a fan of Leeds. I used to come down on a Sunday and watch games and I watched Dan score some wonderful tries at Headingley Carnegie. Hopefully, I can get the try to level with him this season and it would be fantastic to do it here at Headingley Carnegie."
Remarkably, if Biggs starts against London Irish on Sunday that will be his 74th appearance in the starting line up for Leeds, which is exactly the same number of starts that Scarbrough made during his time at the club.
The game this weekend is a must win for Leeds Carnegie, who be looking to grab some vital points to lift them from the foot of the table, whilst Irish themselves are hoping that they can get a win for their first visit to Headingley Carnegie since 2005.
Fans can still buy tickets for this important game at the Headingley Carnegie ticket office either in person or by phone on 08700 60 60 50 or online at http://www.leedscarnegie.com/  Tickets are priced £17 for adults and £5 for children if pre purchased before midnight via the website on Saturday 26th January.
