When two Tuilagi's collide

Residents surrounding Headingley Carnegie Stadium have been warned to secure any loose crockery on Saturday afternoon as the Tuilagi brothers collide when Leeds Carnegie take on Leicester Tigers, kick off 2.45pm.
Leeds Carnegie centre Andy Tuilagi is the middle brother of the Tuilagi dynasty. He joined Leeds Carnegie last season from Leicester having become the fourth member of the family to play for the Tigers following in the footsteps of Freddie, Henry and Alesana. A fifth brother, Vavae, is a member of the Leicester academy and a sixth, Manu, is at school in Leicestershire and set to follow the family tradition.
Saturday will see two of the brothers go head to head for the first time. Andy is looking forward to taking on his older brother Alesana. He said, "It is a great opportunity to play against my old club. I am looking forward to playing against my brother. I know him better than anyone else and I expect him to do what he normally does at Leicester. We need to start well; it is a big challenge for us but we are at home so that is important for us."
Tuilagi initially arrived at Headingley Carnegie on loan last season and made 20 appearances in the Championship winning campaign. At the end of the season he made the decision to make his move to Leeds Carnegie a permanent one but it can not have a been a decision he took lightly.
"I was 18 when I first signed for Leicester and it was a big part of my life growing up. I remember when I first joined training with guys like Martin Johnson and other England legends. Leicester are a great club and they have really helped me and my family down the years. Because my brothers were there as well there was a great family feeling at the Tigers but that was the same with all my team mates as well," recalled Tuilagi.
Whilst Andy was helping Leeds to promotion to the Guinness Premiership his brother Alesana was helping Leicester win the competition with a rampaging display at Twickenham. That performance won the Tigers the title and propelled Alesana into the national consciousness; he was soon filling the boots left by Jonah Lomu appearing in a television adverts for a high street pizza chain. But Andy says that all the attention has not affected his big brother.
"I was really pleased for Alesana when he helped Leicester to win the title. The advert came as a surprise to me when I first saw it. Not many players get to do television adverts so it is a real boost for him. It hasn't gone to his head though and he is still very much down to Earth," said Andy.
