Leeds Met has achieved its highest ever ranking in the BUSA tables coming 7th. On the back of great success across the sporting spectrum Leeds Met has climbed seven places from 14th position in last year's competition to move into the top ten sporting universities competing within BUSA.
The success is the culmination of years of hard work by the Athletic Union, full time coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists and athletes, using Carnegie's World Class Sporting facilities as a base on which they can establish and build Leeds Met's reputation in the sporting elite.
With a host of international standard athletes competing at the University from Samantha Quek and Jo Ellis (GB Hockey) to Richard Buck (GB Athletics), the University will be looking to progress further over the next few years.
