Leeds Carnegie have announced details of their second pre season fixture ahead of the 2008-09 season with the team set to face Magners League side Connacht on Saturday 9th August, kick off 6.30pm.  The game will take place at Connacht's Galway Sportsground and will be the first game in charge for the club's new coaching duo Andy Key and Neil Back.  It is the second pre-season fixture that has been confirmed for the club ahead of their National One campaign, with Leeds already set to face Guinness Premiership side Newcastle Falcons at Headingley Carnegie on Sunday 17th August.
It is the second consecutive season that Leeds have travelled to Ireland as part of their pre-season training following on from their successful game against Ulster ahead of last season's Guinness Premiership campaign.
