Three of the brightest young stars from the Leeds Carnegie academy have recently gone on loan to National Division clubs to gain match experience.
Luther Burrell, Sam Stitcher and Andy Rock all featured for Leeds in their National Division One Championship winning campaign last season but the chance to go out and player senior first team rugby at lower league clubs is seen as a vital part of their development.
Centre Luther Burrell has joined Sedgley Park, having previously played with Otley this season, whilst back rower Sam Stitcher is at Wharfedale and centre Andy Rock has joined Harrogate, the team coached by fellow Leeds team mate Mike Aspinall.
