In 2007 Mike represented America in the World Cup in France, where he appeared in all his side's fixtures.  He finished the season as part of the Eagles' Churchill Cup squad and retained his place in 2009 when USA won the Bowl Final against Georgia.  With 58 appearances for his country he is Leeds Carnegie's most caped player.
