Leeds Career

After overcoming an injury that kept him out of the side for almost the entire 2006-07 season Lee finally got a chance to make his mark on the first team during last season in his 22 appearances.  One of the most memorable moments for Lee over the campaign was in the home game against Newcastle when he helped the side make an incredible start by scoring the fastest ever try in Guinness Premiership history, with his effort recorded at 8.28 seconds.
Lee initially joined Leeds Carnegie during the 2005-06 season from Rotherham on loan.  He made his Leeds debut in the Premiership in the high pressure game against Leicester Tigers and went onto make a further two appearances that season. At the end of the season he committed his future to the club despite the team's relegation at the end of the season.  Lee was in the starting line up for the first two games of the 2006-07 season but an injury against Newbury was to rule him out for the remainder of the season.

Rugby Career

At Rotherham Lee had developed into one of the top performers in the division and had gained a reputation as a tenacious defender during his four seasons at the club. He got his first taste of the Premiership in 2004 when he made his senior debut for Rotherham against Bath. He then went onto make a handful of appearances before the side were relegated. In Division One Lee established himself as the first choice number 12 in the team and in the 2004-05 he was an almost ever present making 24 appearances and scoring five tries over the campaign. Originally a product of the Rotherham Academy, after breaking through to the first team Lee became one of the Titan's most consistent players, going onto make 50 appearances for the club and later being honoured with the role of captain, despite being just 23. Lee has gained representative honours with England Universities and Students in 2004 and England Counties in 2005 when he went on tour of South America with the squad.
