Leeds Career

A product of the Leeds Academy, Chris was handed his first team debut during the 2006-07 season and made an instant impression by scoring a try in his first game against Mosley. He followed this up with another spectacular effort by grabbing two tries against Waterloo. In his next two appearances he scored a try in each game and finished the season with a total of seven. In the Academy Chris played a fundamental role and in 2005-06 season when one of the highlights of the season was when he scored a crucial last minute try to secure a 28-25 win over Leicester. He was also part of the Development XV side who won the Yorkshire Senior Cup in 2006.  In his final season at the club he continued to play a key role in the Leeds Carnegie A side but with strong competition for places he was unable to break through to the first team and the young winger left the club at the end of the season.

Rugby Career

Prior to joining Leeds Carnegie Chris played for Driffield RUFC and he has also represented England at U16 level.
