Leeds Career
Chris made the short trip across the city to sign for the Tykes from Morley at the start of the 2000-2001 season and made a big impression in his first season finishing at third highest try scorer behind Graham MacKay and Shaun Woof, scoring 17 tries in only 20 starts.
Injury wrecked the 2001-02 season for him however he showed much promise when he regained his place at the end of the season, including a match winning try at Saracens. In what was to be his final season at the club he played 19 games and scored 7 tries. He scored hat trick in the Parker Pen European Shield competition against Padova and scored another try in the play off defeat against Saracens.
Rugby Career
Chris rose to prominence with Morley before joining the Tykes. He made his debut at Scratcherd Lane back on 26th September 1998 and finished his first season with eight tries, including the only one against Saracens in the Tetley's Bitter Cup 76-87 loss. However, this was just a taster as the following year he finished as the top try scorer in the Division racking up 22 tries. After joining the Tykes he was selected for the English National Divisions team that beat South Africa in November 2000. On leaving Leeds Chris joined Otley.
