Pete Bucknall signed for Leeds Carnegie ahead of the 2007-08 season and the former Northampton Academy player, who has made a name for himself in the lower divisions will add to the club's front row options after the departure of Michael Cusack and Colin Noon.
Pete began his playing career in the Northampton Academy before signing for National Two side Bracknell, where he made an instant impression by scoring a try on his debut. From here he joined Coventry where he showed some impressive form and was an almost ever present in the side during the 2005-06 season. A knee injury brought a premature end to his career here but he was soon snapped up by their local rivals Pertemps Bees in 2007.
